Mycoplasma is a significant contaminant in cell culture, causing substantial economic losses. In response to this urgent need, our team has developed a complete solution and reagents from sample collection, DNA preparation, and real-time PCR detection to eradicate Mycoplasma contamination and prevent its recurrence. These innovations have gained positive feedback from our customers. Order from us or Fisher Scientific.
Mycoplasma Species qPCR Kit has been designed to specifically identify the mycoplasma genus species in a single PCR reaction using real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) and probe fluorescence labels. The detection of the target DNA confirms ingredient authenticity and prevents food fraud, ethical issues, or health concerns. Our Mycoplasma qPCR is very sensitive, accurate, and highly efficient. (See Fig.1 and Table 1)
Applications
Detect Mycoplasma target DNA in contaminated cell cultures, FBS medium, plant, cannabis, cannabis ingredients, grain, food, herbals, and animal feed.
Feedback from users
DNA extraction protocol was simple and efficient, only requiring enrichment and boiling steps to achieve sufficient amounts of Mycoplasma DNA. The other kit components for RT-qPCR also worked well with no errors.
User friendly – highly recommended.
Features
High sensitivity and specificity for Mycoplasma species.
High efficiency: the optimal systemic conditions for PCR amplifications.
Streamlined protocol: Just add DNA Template and water.
No cross reactivity with other species
Shipping / Storage
